Visitor visa is very comprehensive and it is divided into different categories.

  • For the visit that may include leisure activities, visiting the family member, visiting children, and all recreational activities
  • For business activities that may include commercial activities, which may include business conferences, government visits, attending seminars, Job interviews or professional visits.

VISITOR  VISA (Subclass 600):

This visa is for visit purposes or for business purposes starting from Three to Twelve months.

It has two categories

The visitor visa ( Subclass 651 ) This visa is free of cost, To get this visa you must be a passport holder of certain countries specified in the list issued by the Department of Home Affairs.

The Electronic Travel Authority ( Subclass 601). To get this visa you must be a passport holder of certain countries specified in the list issued by the Department of Home Affairs.

Medical Treatment visa ( Subclass 602):

This visa is mainly for the purpose of Medical treatment, supporting someone getting medical treatment who has applied or got this visa or for donating an organ.

Transit Visa ( Subclass 771):

This visa is for someone and their dependent child with them on there transit in Australia this visa for short stay of 72 hours.

Investor Retirement Visa (Subclass 405):

This visa is for those retirees who are self-funded and want to spend their rest of life in Australia with no Dependents.

Special Program Visa (Subclass 416):

This visa is for the people who are coming for special programs usually designed by the government of Australia. It also has a different stream called seasonal workers program.The basic requirements for this visa include Character certification, Financial documentation, Health examination, Insurance and other depending on the case.
